Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that operates based on the principle that structure and function are interrelated. The body's natural ability to self heal and self regulate is directly related to the structural integrity of the body's anatomy. Our Osteopathic Practitioner, Kaelah, considers all levels of tissue in your body during your assessment and treatment. While coordinating the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments), the circulatory system is liberated which enables drainage and supply of blood through out the body. Once proper motion is restored within the body, function of the physiological systems and structures including the nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics is enabled. Osteopathic Treatment is tailored to each individual patient based on a structural assessment of the body. Treatment is quite gentle and relaxing in order to appeal to the body's nervous system which in turn provides a better response to treatment.

Hi everyone! I am Leyre, a Spanish and French Manual Osteopathic Practitioner. I can offer sessions in English, French or Spanish. I was born in Spain, where I studied Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree in Sports Therapy. Then I moved to Paris where I studied Osteopathy. Later on I spent a few years working and studying in different countries, always with the aim to grow professionally, the human body is my deepest passion. I’m empathetic, mindful, experienced, professional and self motivated. I am passionate about excellent patient care and helping patients to fully connect with their body. In my free time I love to play sports, spend time with my loved ones, travel and learn as much as I can about our exciting human body. Sara Fischer M.OMSc

Sara is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. She graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Masters in Practice Diploma of Manipulative Osteopathic Sciences. Sara was first introduced to Osteopathy after dealing with chronic hip pain from competitive soccer and volleyball. After acquiring immediate results with osteopathic treatment, Sara knew this was the career she wanted to pursue. Prior to Osteopathy, Sara received a Bachelor’s of Science (Hons.) in Kinesiology from Queen’s University, which solidified her love of anatomy, physiology and the inner workings of the human body. Sara appreciates the body’s inherent self-healing and self-regulating processes and is excited about the opportunity to serve the Kingston community. Sara and her husband have called Kingston home for 7 years now. She finds joy in hiking, camping, intramural sports, and doing DIY projects around the house.

I’m Céline Gonçalves, a bilingual Manual Osteopathic Practitioner from Montpellier, France. I graduated in 2021 after five years of dedicated study and honed my skills through a replacement role before establishing my own practice, which I ran for four years before settling in Kingston.

My goal is to help you connect with your body’s unique needs. I tailor my approach to each patient, ensuring personalized care that promotes healing and balance. With a specialization in pediatric osteopathy and expertise in posturology, I bring a wealth of experience, including work with diverse patients and a background in various sports that informs my practical advice.

Outside my practice, I enjoy exploring Asian cuisine, cooking, and diving into novels, comics, and manga. My curiosity about different cultures and perspectives fuels my passion for connecting with others.
